Marcie is an Associate of the Firm, and has nine years of experience representing boards of education. She concentrates her practice in the area of board counsel and has specific knowledge in the areas of negotiations, personnel, tenure and seniority, and criminal and disciplinary issues. Marcie regularly attends school board meetings, negotiation sessions, and provides legal opinions on all areas of labor relations and school district operations. A former criminal defense and NJEA pool attorney, Marcie particularly understands the inner workings of school district operations from both sides of the aisle and pulls from that experience to better assist clients in developing practical solutions.
Marcie appears on lecture panels for the New Jersey Association of School Business Officials and the Seton Hall Superintendent Study Council.
Prior to becoming an Associate of the Firm, Marcie was an Associate at two mid-sized general practice firms; one of which where she was a member of the Education Law Group.
