Jennifer is a founding Partner of the Firm, and has over sixteen years of experience servicing boards of education.  She specializes in the area of board counsel and has specific expertise in the areas of personnel, tenure and seniority, individual contract negotiations, Board policy review and compliance, employee complaint investigations, Open Public Records Act compliance, and student issues, including but not limited to harassment, intimidation, and bullying matters and student code of conduct issues.  Jennifer regularly attends school board meetings, drafts and reviews board policies and regulations, and provides legal opinions on all areas of labor relations and school district operations.  A former teacher, Jennifer particularly understands the inner workings of school district operations and pulls from that experience to better assist clients in developing practical solutions.

 

Jennifer appears on lecture panels for the New Jersey School Boards Association, New Jersey Association of School Business Officials, and the Seton Hall Superintendent Study Council.  She frequently provides legal training for her clients, including board workshops, administrator trainings, and staff seminars.

Jennifer served multiple terms as a trustee for the New Jersey Association of School Attorneys.

 

Prior to becoming one of the founding Partners of the Firm, Jennifer was a Partner at a mid-sized general practice firm where she was a member of the Education Law Group.    

 

In 2013 Jennifer was recognized by the New Jersey Law Journal as one of New Jersey's New Leaders of the Bar.
